Fire runes spawn around the lesser demons in the south of the dungeon.
There is a red spider egg spawn point where they scuttle about.
Crandor and Karamja seem as different as chalk and cheese. They have wildly different landscapes and climates, and attract different types of visitors to their shores. But their differences are only skin deep – beneath the islands is a connecting tunnel which houses incredibly foul, powerful beasts of all shapes and sizes.
Crandor and Karamja Dungeon is accessible from either the top of Karamja Volcano or the peak of Crandor Island. Members will also be able to access an entrance to TzHaar City via the cave that is close to the rope that leads to Karamja.
This tunnel stretches beneath the ocean, and connects the peak of Crandor Island with the top of Karamja Volcano. They both lie on the same geographical faultline, which has, over time, become a home to evil creatures intent on causing harm to those passing through.
Those who have the guts to accept the challenge can find amazing rewards within. A large gold mine is located within, provided you can get past the giant bats and skeletons guarding it.
Elvarg's den is in the northern part of the dungeon, but only those sent to battle her in the Dragon Slayer quest may enter her domain. The door that splits the two halves of the dungeon can only be used once you have progressed far enough through this quest to battle her.
The powerful dragon Elvarg is centuries old, and she has used her lifetime to antagonise people across Gielinor, and none more so than the people of Crandor. The devastation she has caused throughout the ages has attracted warriors with a will and determination to slay her. Only a handful have come back alive.
Elvarg can be found stalking her lair in the northern part of the dungeon.
*Note: Elvarg is the only dragon that non-members will face in RuneScape. Her den is in the northern part of the dungeon, but only those sent to battle her in the Dragon Slayer quest may enter her domain.
